Leanne Rice: I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my family, friends and the local businesses that helped get me to the start line of the London Marathon in April. For those of you who were unaware, not only did I have to train every weekend for 18 weeks, I had the added pressure of having to raise £2,000 for my chosen charity “WellChild.” With the organisation of several fundraising events and the generosity of people, I managed to exceed my target and raise a fantastic £3015.20!
Come along and swim in the heated outdoor pool at Bow Community Primary School, Station Road, Bow. A lifesaver is present at all public sessions. Saturday 23rd July to Saturday 3rd September. Pool will be open 6 days per week. Monday to Saturday – 2pm to 3pm. £2.00 per session – 3 years and under free.
