Nanny Knights Revel 2013

Nanny Knights Revel history is recorded in The Book of North Tawton which gives the account, some 100 years ago, of Nanny Knight, a senior lady who went missing; whereupon the people of North Tawton came together and searched high and low to find her.

The result being, to everyone’s relief, Nanny Knight was found, safe and well, asleep in a cornfield. Such was her family’s delight to have her safely returned home; a celebration was organised and aptly named ‘Nanny Knight’s Revels.
