Roger Berrie Morning Star School

Several years ago, Roger was simply led by God to the slums in Punjab, North West India, and started a refuge for impoverished children from the local Punjab slum area.

By the grace of God, Roger duly embarked on building a residential school.

In addition to education, by which the children have passed government examinations—food, shelter, clothing, medical care and rehabilitation is provided.

One life. What’s it all about?

Christianity Explored course for Lent at St Peter’s Church, Essington, North Tawton, commences on Tuesday 21 February 2012.

The Christianity Explored course runs for 7 weeks, and gives you time and space to think through who Jesus is and why it matters.

All are welcome at any point during the 7 week duration, from 7.30pm to 9pm.

St Peter’s Church, North Tawton, is to present Displays of Community Life through the years as a fundraiser in aid of a sound system for the church.

The Community Festival will be held over three days; Friday 16th to Sunday 18th September, with opening times as follows:
